The beautiful thing about Photos is that you don't need language to understand it. People from all over the world can look at the same picture and see the same thing. The interpretation may be different, but what is right there, right in front of them is that same striking black and white hung on the gallery wall.

Çağrı Bolat shoots on his Minolta x300 in his home country Turkey. As you will see below, the shots are moments snatched and savoured. The blues and yellows make the heart long to be by the beach. Below, Bolat answers a few questions regarding his Film Photography:

When did you first discover Film Photography?

A Childhood friend introduced me to it. he had a Zenit- e and was always shooting on film. On a trip to Estonia, my friend brought his analogue cameras, and by the time I came back I had a Zenit-e and a Zenit-11.

Why do you shoot on film?

I love old, antique stuff. It's so realistic and natural. Something that someone used years ago. I find it so interesting.

What camera/film do you shoot on?

I use mostly Minolta x300 camera but i use sometimes Zenit 12Xp, Zenit 11 and Zenit-E.

My Favourite film to shoot on are Tudorcolor 200, Profoto 100, Fujifilm 200, Ilford Pan 400, Agfa 400.

What is the best thing you have learnt about Film?

Its so very precious.

Below I have inserted a few of my favourite shots from Bolat's Instagram (@CAQRIBOLAT). Please go and see his instagram and follow to make sure you don't miss any of his new film photography.
